Thanks, Ruth for taking this fun photo of our great group @ Rhodes!

We just lift these young people up to our great God and ask that He blesses their lives as they continue to grow in body AND spirit!

Yes, Lord… bring it! Overflow them and their teachers with your goodness… OH & good grades too!  😛

This past Saturday (the 22nd) we were blessed to hold our second semester orientation class @ Calvary Chapel Chino Hills. Thank you CCCH!

We are so full of joy to be doing what we are doing… Thank you for all the hands that labor, hearts that support, and spirits that pray for our wonderful children.

AND yes! “When you go to your knees, God will help you to stand up to anything.” We remember to pray & it is POWERFUL & EFFECTIVE.

More news soon, but until then a picture of (almost all) of our volunteers who share the good news of hope & love throughout the district.

We give thanks to the Lord for His love endures forever. Happy 2011!

🙂

oh! and please add our Jr. High program to your prayer list?  May the kids crave real knowledge that satisfies the soul. 😀 & may all know the God of all comfort.

The Lord has recently called so many new volunteers that we will now offer the Bible/Character Education Program to every elementary school within the school district.

We now have:

  • 14 new volunteers
  • 22 elementary schools + one group foster home
  • AND starting our first Jr. High in the fall!

Praise God that we are being enabled to meet growing needs! Prayers are being answered 🙂

Please make time to tune in to KKLA 99.5 fm

THIS Thursday, August 19 @ 5:30 PM.

Mr. Pastore will be speaking with Pastor Hibbs, of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, regarding the wonderful work the Lord is doing through RTCE (right here) in the Chino Valley School District.

Also, we are pleased to note that Pastor Jack will be the keynote speaker at the California RTCE State Conference fundraiser banquet this Saturday, August 21st at Church of the Open Door. We pray that this conference blesses the many servant/leaders that attend and all the wonderful children & families they strive to serve and spread the “good news” to. 😉

Our third corporate prayer meeting is on Saturday, May 22 at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in the courtyard. We will meet at 9:30 and conclude approximately an hour later.

Please come out and join us as we pray for the Released Time ministry and especially for our children.

We look forward forward to seeing you & even meeting some new faces.  🙂

THANK YOU & God bless you too!
& please remember:

“Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much” -James 5:16

As our teachers and volunteers continue to serve we are reminded of all the grace God has given to us… also, of the wisdom he has revealed to us that we must share with our children.
We have great hope in Christ Jesus.
“I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it”.
Psalm 8:10

Thank you volunteers and supporters for helping us fill the mouths of the spiritual hungry.
Lord bless our students 🙂

-thx for the nice scholar photo Ruth

Thanks to Ruth (one of our volunteers) for the nice picture!

Ginni’s class at Country Springs was surprised during a recent object lesson. Many scholars said:  “it’s really cool how we could do that with a piece of paper!” It’s so awesome what the cross signifies. Yes, we have great hope in any circumstance because Jesus paid the price. Thank you God & big praises too!

if you have an extra 45 minutes… join us?

announcement originally sent from : Carolyn Schenkel

“Hello sisters and brothers in Christ,
We welcome everyone to come to pray for Release-Time education on Saturday Feb.13, 2010 (10:00am) at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills courtyard.
Come join us in prayer!! and see what amazing things God can do!!

Philippians 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We also pray that God’s comfort, joy and hope outweigh the “daily grind” of the world in 2010 for all of you.

RTCE looks forward to the prize: Sharing the good news to (approximately) 380 children this year. Amen!

A BIG THANK YOU > to our 34 faithful volunteers who administer the seven month program AND to our wonderful supporters.

WE SERVE > 21 of the 23 district elementary schools. Please continue to pray that we will grow to serve all. 😀

JR. HIGH > A door has been opened!!! Permission has been granted to conduct an after-school Release Time program. We are exploring offering (on campus) Bible classes as well. Please join us in praying for God to lead the way as we make strides to reach out to teens.

TECH ON OUR BUSES > Another “thank you” to all who helped us update & bring our buses into the DVD & laptop age. Teaching has been made easier and we are thrilled to be able to quickly access media to better present lessons and play both video and song. Note: IF you happen to attend Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, please stop by and see the “girls” (our buses). We’ve named them: The Nose, Gigi and Glory! They are our traveling chapels and we give ALL glory to God!  🙂

CALIFORNIA RELEASE TIME CONFERENCE & BANQUET > Mark your calendar… Saturday, August 21st (at Church of the Open Door in Azusa) Keynote speaker: Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills (longtime supporter & cheerleader of RTCE). Please make plans to attend as it will be very informative and encouraging to those who have a heart for the children… the least of these.

(more news later…)
